The First Supercapacitor Factory in Italy
CapTop was selected among the beneficiaries of the POR Campania FESR 2014-2020 with the project “The First Factory of Supercapacitors in Italy”.
Our goal, in fact, is to build a first Italian supercap plant. To this end, our business is focused on designing cell and supercap module production lines and developing complete systems for specific applications.
The first step has already been completed: we are currently setting up the production line of supercap modules, financed with the support of the Campania Region – with the contribution of the Por Campania Fesr 2014-2020. The project is co-financed by the European Union, the Italian State and the Campania Region, under the ROP Campania FESR 2014-2020.
This production line also includes the production of LFP and LTO batteries at various voltages – from 12V up to 1000V – so as to provide our customers with complete electric energy storage systems, including hybrid batteries-supercapacitors.
In the following images we show the automatic laser welding system being completed, the main part of the production line of Supercapacitor Modules, funded with the support of the Campania Region.
Our project will have a positive impact on the socio-economic context of Italy and consequently the citizens as it opens the door to a new market.
