CapTop was selected by ITA – Italian Trade Agency to participate in SMAU | Italy RestartsUp in Paris 2026, which represented one of the key moments in the company’s growth and internationalization journey.
The event was included in the international roadshow of SMAU, one of Europe’s leading platforms dedicated to innovation and open innovation, with the aim of connecting the Italian ecosystem with major global hubs.
A bridge between Italian innovation and international innovation
SMAU Paris has stood out for its ability to create concrete networking between startups, businesses, investors and institutions. The 2026 edition brought together around 50 selected Italian startups and numerous players in the French ecosystem, offering a highly qualified context for the development of new collaborations.
The aim of the initiative went beyond mere exposition: the aim was to build solid connections between the Italian and French innovation ecosystems, facilitating the matching of supply and demand and fostering the development of co-innovation projects and strategic partnerships.
For CapTop, this meant entering a dynamic and international environment, where direct comparison with new players added value to its growth prospects. Direct comparison with the French market also allowed us to gather useful insights to adapt our solutions to the context.
Looking to the future
The experience in Paris strengthened CapTop’s vision: to innovate means to collaborate, open up to new markets and seize the opportunities offered by an ever-changing global ecosystem.
