Power Cabinet
Power Cabinet
The Power Cabinet is a compact, modular solution designed to meet the needs of applications requiring high power, reliability, minimal maintenance, and a long service life. It is based on the CTM 00165C0 0054V0 SH11 module—also known as the “Power Brick” due to its versatility in electromechanical assemblies—capable of delivering power in the megawatt (MW) range and handling extremely high currents while maintaining excellent levels of insulation and safety.
At CapTop, we recognize that no off-the-shelf product perfectly matches every client’s specific requirements in the field of specialized high-power systems. We believe that every application deserves careful evaluation and tailored customization.
The Power Cabinet can be configured with one or more strings of 54V base modules connected in series and/or parallel (up to 32 modules). Each string features its own String Management Unit (SMU), which manages the module BMS units and provides a ModBus RTU interface for master/slave remote control.
Customizable string specifications include:
Maximum voltage: Multiples of 54VDC up to 1728VDC
Maximum power: Up to 3.5 MW (1 sec)
Maximum capacity: Up to 2144 Wh
Digital input channels: Up to two 24V opto-isolated channels
Digital output channels: Eight 24V opto-isolated channels capable of driving 400 mA
Analog input channels: Up to 5
Communication port: RS422 or RS485.
One or more strings can be rack-mounted and combined within an electrical cabinet, which is also customizable. Standard 1200x600x2000 mm cabinet capable of housing two or more strings (4288Wh+)
Custom open-frame cabinet made of fiberglass (FR-4) for maximum insulation and compactness
Forced-air cooling system sized according to the duty cycle
Integrated diagnostic, safety, management, and signaling systems, enabled by customizable SMU software
The Power Cabinets themselves can be combined in series and/or parallel to create a solution that meets any specification.
